How to get rid of dark circles
Who doesn’t want to get rid of those dark circles making one look older than they are? The causes of dark circles can be many, including lack of sleep, genetics, Stress, ageing, hormonal imbalance, hyperpigmentation, and other medical conditions.
So, how about treating these dark circles with some simple home remedies?
Cucumber & Potato: Take 1/4 slice of a cucumber and one small potato. Grate them and Strain the juice. Now add 1 tsp honey and 1 tsp aloe vera gel. Refrigerate it for 15min. The gel is now ready for application. Apply the gel for 20 min and rinse it.
Coriander and mint leave: Take equal amounts of coriander and mint leaves. Add few ice cubes and grind it. Add the pulp to a thin cotton cloth and squeeze the juice. Add a little grated potato and deep freeze for 1/2 hr. Now you can dip the cotton pads in the juice and cover your eyes with those cotton pads.

Sabja and sandalwood: Make a fine powder of sabja seeds. Add 1 tbsp of sabja seeds powder to 1 tbsp of sandalwood powder. Mix few drops of coconut oil and apply it. Let it stay for 20mins and then rinse.
Inknut paste: Inknut or karakayi, which is considered to be a rejuvenating her,b helps in treating dark circles. Rub the ink nut on a stone and collect the paste. Apply it for 20mins and then wash. Try this at least once a week for better results.
Curd and turmeric: Add a pinch of turmeric to 2 tbsp of curd. Mix it well and apply this paste around the eyes. Wash it after 10mins.
Note:
- If you have any hormonal issues, these tips may not work
- Any eye cream should be applied with your ring finger with very minimum pressure to avoid fine lines and wrinkles as the area is very sensitive
